Las obras reunidas en Vangar se sitúan en el umbral entre gesto y arquitectura. La instalación dibuja en acero inoxidable un espacio transitable, hecho de rectas y arcos suspendidos en el aire. No es un objeto autónomo, sino un dibujo expandido en el que el visitante entra, pasa por debajo, rodea y mide con su propio cuerpo. «La escala no es magnitud, sino relación», recordaba Luigi Ghirri. Y también Anne Carson, que en Audubon (Men in Their Off Hours) escribió:
construía armaduras flexibles de madera y alambre sobre las que disponía la piel y las plumas del pájaro – o en ocasiones …
Una imagen que resuena en esta exposición: el intento de dar sostén a lo que se escapa, de dar forma a un gesto imposible. En la obra de Lluc, como en Carson, lo esencial ocurre en ese desajuste: en lo que el trazo no contiene pero convoca.
The works brought together in Vangar straddle the threshold between gesture and architecture. The installation draws a walkable space in stainless steel, made of straight lines and arches suspended in the air. It is not an autonomous object, but an expanded drawing that visitors can enter, pass under, walk around, and measure with their own bodies. “Scale is not magnitude, but relationship,” Luigi Ghirri reminded us. And so did Anne Carson, who wrote in Audubon (Men in Their Off Hours):
he built flexible frames of wood and wire on which he arranged the skin and feathers of the bird—or sometimes...
An image that resonates in this exhibition: the attempt to support what escapes, to give shape to an impossible gesture. In Lluc's work, as in Carson's, the essential occurs in that mismatch: in what the line does not contain but summons.
